While we're on definitions, is there a specific name or catagorization for long duration/ "reasonable load" testing of an application to identify potential memory leaks or degeneration in a "realistic" or real life environment?

The reason I ask is that a system may produce odd results when subjected to extreme stress, but previous experience has indicated that running a slightly higher than average load for a week has unearthed significant issues (that were easy to characterize) that none of the other testing clearly identified...
