THEN, and only then, should you start thinking about a tool. When clients interview me about Performance Testing they always ask me what tool I use - I tell them 2 things.
1) It doesn't matter, the tool is transparent to what I do.
2) If the tool doesn't natively do what we need it to, I either "teach" the tool to do it, or we get a tool that will.
I, for one, refuse to be limited by my tools.
