Hi,
I want to perform load & stress testing on my web application. It is basically an order management applicaiton. You search for a book and place and order for the book.
Most of our code is written in server side javascript.
I want to test the following ..
1. different users logging into the website
2. doing different searches

Is there any tool that can support SSL and javascript and help to stress test the above criteria.

I would recommend you check out WebPartner's Stress Testing offering.

It's web-based and we use our hardware to apply the load. So you don't have to buy, configure, and maintain additional hardware. Deploys rapidly. It's easy to use. So you can get your tests done quickly.

Best wishes for success with your project!

Mark

PS You can also use the same scripts to perform ongoing monitoring and testing after you've deployed the app to production..

I'd recommend checking out OpenLoad (http://www.opendemand.com/) as it is a completely browser based solution that has native JavaScript support (runs it on the fly) and wizard driven paramertization options that will allow you simulate different users logging into your application without any programming.

Feel free to drop me a line if I can be of any help.

Thanks,
Don
